Last week, Miss Laura's #StorytimePlayers was a great time! #MissLaura retold The Very Hungry Caterpillar with toys, then the kids made puppets, and then Lydia transformed into a butterfly! Nora even decided to make herself into a leaf. This week's story is If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. Miss Laura and the children will adapt the book to their own lives and perform their own chain reaction stories! We hope you can join us tomorrow at 1 PM. Last week, Miss Laura's #WonderWorld was all about the five senses. There were sensory bins, scented play dough, a smell guessing game (from lavender to sardines!), a blind taste test, and an instrument making station. Nora got extra creative and decorated a coffee can in every texture she could find! That's exactly the spirit of the Wonder World. Tomorrow's theme is Light and Shadow. The plan is to decorate inside a big box fort with glow sticks and tape. There will also be stations around the room that will include shadow puppets, homemade wall projections using clear plastic and flashlights, and much more! Miss Laura's Wonder World is Friday from 2pm - 3:30pm. It's just $15 per child and includes all supplies! Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult but this is designed for ALL AGES.
