back in high school, my dad was scrolling through shelter listings online.

one dog caught his eye — a purebred maltese, 6 years old, sitting there for way longer than any dog deserves to.

turns out there was a reason nobody wanted him.
bad temperament. never got housetrained. bounced between homes more than once, and each family gave up on him.

something about that just didn't sit right with us.

we decided to go get him.
