I will be hiring a PhD student to work on shark extinctions using the fossil record in early 2021 (if things go back to "normal" then). If you are interested, or know of someone, please let me know. I encourage underrepresented students to apply.

Congratulations to Stromberg Lab grads Alex Lowe and @WaigePilson on their recent GSA Student Research Grants. Good luck with the summer fieldwork! @Wilson_KPg_Lab
Wow. Good day. All looked lost til the last hour of the day and @DinoMohabey pulled another rabbit out of his hat. Perhaps the last sauropod dinosaur to walk in India and beyond. Now to figure out how to excavate it!
Yesterday we started the 2nd leg of our fieldwork shifting to the Nand-Dongargaon basin. @DinoMohabey gave the team the low down on these uppermost Cretaceous deposits and @diapophysis and the team scored some of our best fossil discoveries thus far. . . more on that later!
Another good day in the field. @diapophysis here scoping out vertebrate microfossils in infratrappean rocks from quarry spoil piles. Croc fish turtle. #india#paleontology
New paper by former lab member and now asst prof Jonathan Calede and coauthors on a Clarkia sciurid that will be on exhibit at the new @burkemuseum https://t.co/dfg4oze0EA via @thePeerJ
