Baboons: the true drama squad of the wild. 🐒

Highly social, incredibly intelligent, and never short of personality, baboons live in large troops with clear hierarchies. They communicate with facial expressions, vocal calls, and even body language basically running their own busy little society in the wild.

Fun fact: baboons spend most of their day on the ground but climb trees or cliffs to sleep safely at night. Smart, organized, and always entertaining to watch.

Often overlooked but truly fascinating, jackals are some of the most adaptable predators in Uganda’s wilderness! These clever canines are opportunistic hunters, feeding on everything from small mammals to insects and even scavenging leftovers from larger predators.
Did you know? Jackals are monogamous, meaning they mate for life! They also play a crucial role in maintaining the ecosystem by keeping prey populations in check. You can spot them in Queen Elizabeth National Park, Murchison Falls, and Kidepo Valley, where they roam the savannah under the moonlit sky.
