about building with BRAINROT.
Recently I've been getting so stuck into the work of shipping and building for @brainrotproject that i've forgotten to make a point to tell everyone, about what I've been building and what my vision is for the project.

Today the lab got a full overhaul,
with revised brainpoint costs for NUKE, easily the highest impact action you can take on a token is to re-roll it completely. See something cheap on the floor but don't like it? Go Nuke it and get something completely new.

The new costs are aimed at making evolving your brainrots much more accessible. One burn would get you as many as two nukes now. I have separated the cost of the Nuke action by rarity tier, and each rarity tier has a small chance to roll the tier above. So you can (if you're lucky) get a higher tier rarity for a lower cost.

the new Nuke prices are
Common: 50 BP
Uncommon: 100 BP
Rare: 150 BP
Epic: 200 BP

Another feature that has been repriced is CUSTOM previously it was prohibitively priced at 2500 BP
but it is a useful tool if you just want to design your own brainrot without having to deal with RNG.

The new cost of the custom action is now 1000 BP

I've also enabled a way to use the custom tool for no BP cost at all, so that you can go into the custom tool, run on trial mode and build whatever you like, and it will produce a plan to show you what you need to be able to build your perfect brainrot exactly how you want.

THE VISION
The Vision for Brainrot is that this is a living collection. IT is intended that collectors get to be creative with what they make and these new changes are in service of opening these tools up to everyone. You don't have to be a whale to start making crazy things, you just need to make one burn to be able to unlock a lot of crazy features in the lab.

I've been so focused on building the LAB into an experience that enables creators to be creative, but now it is my focus to show you all how to use those tools.

BRAINROT IS A FIRST OF ITS KIND

I don't talk about it enough but one of the things Brainrot does that is not in any other collection yet is its system for live ai rendering for collectors to modify their pieces in the collection. We are one of (if not the) first to do it.

We created the system this way to give as much agency as possible to our collectors to be able to create whatever they want in the lab. We have a system that allows people to re-roll, re-render, retry as many times as they like, until they get the perfect version of what they are after.

The system works on burns, the whole economy for upgrading your Brainrots is based on burning items in order to upgrade or modify the existing brainrots. So with every new iteration introduced, it is reducing the supply of overall brainrots.

We have already seen over 1400 burned from the collection. Starting at 10k and already we are down to 8587 in the collection.

The system is simple BURN brainrots, EARN brainpoints, EVOLVE brainrots.

We are about to announce the next steps for Brainrots, part of why we did the soft staking event was so that people could begin to accumulate some brainpoints to spend in the lab before this next step.
