@ScarlettWall4 This is a true issue and it is worrying that so many people are unaware that it is getting so severe. I think a major step we need to make as a society is losing the idea of "mid-level" providers and promoting more confidence in these highly educated medical providers. #NR4031218
@Michell44082249 I 100% agree with this. In the ED where I work we are often struggling to staff with enough float nurses. What happens is that patients wait hours for discharge and the room is taken up for longer leaving more people waiting in the waiting room (and many that LWOT) #NR4031218
@gagnewest1 I find myself getting really frustrated with the anti-vaxers. I know it is their right but there are so many things that I don't think they think about. The point that vaccines aren't just for you but for your community is super important. #NR4031218
This is such a great idea! Living in an area with such a prevalent opioid epidemic, hosting a training on how to use narcan for both nursing students and the general public would be an invaluable resource for our community. #NR4031218
The idea of "mid-level" providers is a strange idea for many people. I really like how this NP described her role as a bridge between medicine and nursing as well as someone who critically impacts the patient's positive outcome. I appreciate all the advice she offered. #NR4031218

This short article is a reminder that the nurses who care for people have emotions too. I can recall a day when I cried the whole drive home from work. The people I work with hold me up everyday and we all need to be those people for each other as nurses. #NR4031218
