@TheWordOfErynn Yes we are. Its been calm and sunny, then cold and windy, then sunny again then today these showers. We've got all the kit but maybe Willow needs goggles and a flying helmet! π
@RetirementTales We always set up Y2 sats with as informal a feel as possible when they first came in. Children barely knew they were doing them according to parents. The pressure in Y6 now is tragic and detrimental to children even in schools with visionary, creative leadership. So sad.
@FinnFifth Hee hee π Lovely piccy of Finn. Hope the effects wear off quickly. We're all snoozling after so much walking on our Norfolk holiday. Willow has been such a busy girl. She went straight back to bed after a quick walk on the dunes this morning. Bless her π₯°
@GPAIndiana I use them when I wash and 'pin up' my Mum's hair. She's 94 and the shampoo and set is her ritual. Old habits etc. She's used rollers and mental then plastic pins for 80 years
@monstroso My Mum is 94 - her short term memory has gone. She also has limited mobility. I help her 'remember' all the family history I heard in hours with my Grandma. It seems it's down to luck in some part when it comes to great age. David Attenborough is my hero and my dear Mum is too β€οΈ
@FinnFifth 3rd week in Sept with the Golden Girls. It'll be Little Dot's first visit to Cornwall. Looking forward to following a 20 month old toddler round the beach, digging holes with her and Willow π€ππ₯
Life's just fine, when you're 9 ππππ
After a tricky few months with a few family health issues, her ninth birthday is a good reason to return to posting.
She's a constant gentle JOY in our lives. Happy Birthday, sweet Willow π
@TheWordOfErynn I was hardly at home! Things have settled with both Mum and g'daughter. Looking forward to a week away now for total mental break,(while trying NOT to worry about Mum π) XX Found it hard to focus on anything π
@TheWordOfErynn Thank you, Kathryn. Mum is 94 + had some months of poor health. She's ok now but struggles with memory. Now has carers twice a day but nothing replaces care from family (ie me). Roof leaks + new tv stressed Mum. G'daughter had lots of illness Jan Feb at childcare. Cont'd
@Joseph_Fasano_ This is STUNNING! I'd buy this in a heartbeat for so many friends, family and for myself. Love the text and the artwork. Fabulous β€οΈ
