@ShaydyShinigami Can Nikki not be seen as a villain? Sure not the actual person but this second sentient identity is absolutely a villain from a perspective… she literally kills objectively innocent people not matter how ass of friends they are…
People forget Naruto tanked getting hit with all of his chakra at once in base… recovered then proceeds to beat the brakes of the guy that split the moon in one beam.
If you really read this over a couple times over you’ll realize like nearly every attempt of a critique of this season. They are literally not saying anything.
Yeah season 2 of Edgerunners sucked. They weren't even Edgerunners. Two stories crammed into one that didn't need to be like that, a limp ending, and it felt like we didn't even get to know any of the characters that well. Disappointing.
I feel like you just complained about the season realize that everything you said also applied to season 1 and then added in that bullshit ay the end to justify it being valid and different…
I have mixed feelings about edgerunner 2.
like... it was cool. But also kinda lame..?
I dont even know what the main story was.
And it felt like none of the characters made any difference or achieved anything.
Spoiler:
- "King+Ex Wife" never were able to save Talia
- "D" revenge kinda fizzled out
- "Talia" never was able to do what she wants
- "Roman" filming never was important
- "Capria" never was able to be free
Sure you can say Edgerunner 1 was just as Pointless, but at least there were some resolutions, a clearer main character/storyline to follow and deeper emotional beats.
@handlersone Again there is not justification for this. If your argument is visual indications this is then simply an inconsistency Naruto takes discernible damage due to significantly weaker attacks like normal taijutsu… and treats shuriken as a threat.
