Poggio Di Sotto Rosso Di Montalcino 2016. Garnet, very transparent, medium body, spice mixed in with fruit. Pleasant 13.5% alc.. Don’t know why, the fruit actually reminds me of Merlot from the St. Emilion plateau or Lalande de Pomerol, before the Sangiovese herbal notes kick in.
