Hafley says Rodney McGraw made a strong impression early on as a UDFA by the way he hit the bag back in those initial spring practices. They realized he has a lot in his body, just hadn't played a lot of football.

He credits Rodney and the coaching staff for getting him up to speed and now on the 53-man roster.

On the potential impact of getting Caleb Douglas back:

It has a big impact on our offense. He was a big bright spot early on. Everyone was excited about him early on. We were counting on him then unfortunately he got injured.

Hafley says they’ll monitor him throughout the week to see how quickly he acclimates coming back off the injury.

Hafley on the team's energy coming off the bye week -
Sometimes teams will come back off a bye, mini-bye, any time off and can be sluggish. This group had incredible energy, they were locked in, flying around having fun together. This is a fun group to coach. They want to get better and grow. It was fun to get back at it. I missed it. I missed them. Guys are locked in.
