The moment you said, "Yes," to Jesus as your Redeemer-King, your slate was wiped clean by his precious blood. Your past was forgiven and forgotten. Your future is secure and full of potential.
As @DerwinLGray writes in his book, “Healing our Racial Divide,” the Jerusalem council could have easily gone in the direction of having messianic Jewish only congregations, and various gentile congregations based on ethnicity, and this would have been easier, but this would not have been faithful.
