Our members are involved in 100 plus community engagement events a year.

We don’t share photos often because some things are simply the right thing to do, and don’t need press or praise.

The officers being fired, indicted and suspended are mostly non-minorities.

However, some in SLMPD say it’s hard to find qualified minority candidates.

The number of non-minority officers graduating from the Academy and then fired or indicted seems to contradict that belief.

The officer approached within inches of a handcuffed man’s face to intimidate him. He asked the officer for his name and badge number, and the officer said his name is “f$&k you.” Some officers can’t stand when citizens challenge their actions.

And we wonder why we’re hated.
