Simion's AUR party has teamed up with the Social Democrats to file a joint no-confidence motion against PM Ilie Bolojan. They only need 14 more votes, which they already have.

If the motion passes, the government falls in the same day. A new government would then need to be formed, and Simion could become Prime Minister, the role he should have had if the EU didn’t cancel the last election!

If parliament rejects the government's proposals twice, the President can dissolve parliament entirely and call snap elections.
