THINGS I HAVE LEARNT
I have learnt that many unnecessary wounds are sustained when a man moves out too quickly.
When you step out before your time, the fire has not yet purged you of the strength of the flesh,
immorality, pride, anger, impatience, self-will,
They mount up with wings like eagles, not because they ran early,
but because they endured the process.
They run and do not grow weary.
They walk and do not faint,
because God dealt with the flesh before releasing the calling.
and the hunger for applause.
Haste exposes what waiting would have healed.
Speed reveals weaknesses that silence would have purified.
Those who wait upon the Lord are not idle; they are being refined.
Their strength is renewed, not borrowed.
THINGS I HAVE LEARNT
I have learnt that there is a season to cultivate and a season to harvest.
He who despises the days of cultivation will surely meet the day of harvest-
and stand there empty-handed.
The gifts You placed within me, O Lord, are seeds entrusted to my care.
Do not permit me to live in a way that hides Your glory,
or walk carelessly through my time and call it faith.
Teach my hands diligence in secret,
that my days of appearance may carry weight.
May my obedience today speak loudly in my tomorrow.
If I neglect them, the appointed day of manifestation will still arrive,
yet I will have no substance to present before You.
Let my life not testify that You have ceased to manifest in my generation.
His confidence came from intimacy with God, not public approval.
This is a reminder for us as young people: confidence in God grows as humility grows. When we stop trying to impress people and start trusting God, grace begins to speak for us.
THINGS I HAVE LEARNT.
One thing Scripture has taught me is that biblical confidence is not loud. It doesn’t shout, insult, or try to dominate conversations. Real confidence is calm, humble, and secure in God.
Humility, on the other hand, positions us to receive His grace, help, and wisdom.
Jesus showed us this clearly. He didn’t need to prove Himself with noise. He spoke with authority, walked in obedience, and trusted the Father completely.
In a world where noise is often mistaken for boldness, the Bible teaches us that God is not impressed by volume, He looks at the heart. That’s why Scripture says God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Pride may sound confident, but it actually pushes God away.

Nigeria is going through an existential crisis. There's literal fire on the mountain but governors are playing silly political games all over the place.
The lack of sensitivity and the banality of the people we call leaders in this nation breaks my heart.
Sometimes, I tear up.
@Deborahmoses_s@Deborahmoses_s To claim they contain ‘errors’ is to call God’s wisdom flawed. James 3:1 warns that not all should be teachers, for stricter judgment awaits them, perhaps a warning you should heed.
@Deborahmoses_s@Deborahmoses_s "Your words expose a deep lack of reverence for Scripture and a reckless handling of the Word of Truth. Paul’s letters, inspired by the Holy Spirit, are foundational to Christian doctrine (2 Timothy 3:16).
