@lynngranger61 @roseam Exactly. I think at some point Sam just started accepting everything that was happening and it became a drag, the character became a shell of himself. I think they wanted to give him a little more attention to Dean, but they chose this in the worst possible ways!

it's irrelevant but Sam's hug with Dean was perfectly written and directed here like you can see they really MISSED each other. I loved Jared's acting there. also it showed how Sam can be protective/possessive over his brother just like Dean does.
