I awake with a start. It`s pitch dark. I can hear @WinnieTrainor breathing peacefully. My heart is pounding. What have I done?

I am at @WinnieTrainor`s cottage. She is none too happy that I left last night, but understands we must be discreet. Her parents are back.

I can tell that @WinnieTrainor has some misgivings too. But the moment has passed. She rests her head on my shoulder and curls up to sleep.

We both agree that Shannon is a poor businessman. It`s Annie that keeps @mowatlodge afloat.

We stay outside for a few moments, but go inside. Two kerosene lamps and a woodstove are burning. It`s warm and cozy.
