Merry Christmas from our family at 'The Winning Walk', to yours! We hope today is filled with abundant love from above and joy that outshines the darkness. Praise Him for the perfect gift of His son, Jesus!
This verse is more than comfort, it's a promise!
Lesson: God’s nearness is most deeply experienced in seasons of brokenness. His presence is a healing balm, and His salvation reaches the deepest wounds.
There are mysteries everywhere and the Bible is full of them!
Have you read the book of Ecclesiastes? What's a mystery in the Bible you find challenging to comprehend or are awe-inspired by?
"Hearing the Word of God should challenge us and change us! So don’t just hear – take action! The Bible promises the effectual doer of God’s Word will be blessed in what He does." -Dr. Ed Young
The gift of friendship! Thank Him for it today and ask Him to let you be a light to those around you.
"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:16
There is one Mediator between God and humanity and that is no other than Jesus Christ, who gave Himself as a ransom for all. In Him, we find the bridge to salvation and the heart of the gospel. (1 Timothy 2:5–6)
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you.”Psalms 32:8
^Isn't this good news? God WILL instruct us! As we go through life, God will teach us. He will do all these things for us if we are willing.
God's timing is never random—He moves with purpose, and His favor comes exactly when we need it most. He hears, He answers, and He helps at just the right time. If you're in a season of uncertainty, hold on—God’s appointed time is filled with grace, breakthrough, and restoration.
This verse is a powerful reminder that true strength doesn't come from within ourselves, but from God. It speaks to those who are on a journey—not just physically, but spiritually—seeking a deeper relationship with Him.
Think of your conscience as a square. Every time you sin, that little square turns and the corners of that square get knocked off, and there is pain. Don’t let that happen! Don’t put off making a full surrender to Christ.
First, you are immediately born by the Spirit into the family of God. Instantaneously, you are baptized by the Spirit to be in the body of Christ, His church. At the same time, the Spirit comes to indwell you. And – again at the same time -you are sealed by the Spirit.
Whatever you’re going through, and in spite of the stress of circumstances – you can be confident that what God is producing in your life is worthwhile.
Find comfort in the Lord today. Seek Him in prayer, asking to remind you of His presence within you and the way He has plans to prosper you and not forsake you. Thank Him for His victory over death so we can live this life of ours to glorify Him!
No matter what challenges come your way, remember this truth: You are from God, and you’ve already overcome. Why? Because the power within you—God’s Spirit—is far greater than anything the world can throw at you. Keep going. You are never alone, and you are already victorious.
