What a month!

We welcomed 25 different agencies to our school for our resource fairs. Our students benefited from learning about all the incredible services that these groups provide - housing, employment, mental health, settlement, and taxes... and so much more!

Our final resource fair is this Wednesday and it's a big one!

We'll have 7 organizations in our Student Lounge, sharing all of their incredible services and programming.

At 1 pm we will draw our grand prize for students who attended a fair throughout the month! @WinnipegSD

Resource fair #3 is in the books! Congrats to Feven for taking home the prize from Norwest Co-Op.

Our final resource fair is on Oct. 25, with six more agencies setting up in the Student Lounge.

Congratulations to Osama for passing his Canadian Citizenship Test! Last week, Osama stayed after school and took the online test. His weeks of hard work and studying paid off, and after he takes his Oath, he will be a Canadian citizen! (1/3)

Osama was 1 of 10 students who took Canadian Citizenship Preparation Classes this year. In partnership with Immigrant Centre Manitoba, students attended classes for 6 weeks throughout the spring. 3 of these students have already passed their test, with more to come! (2/3)
