More than half of accidental fires at home are started by cooking - often when cookers and grills are left unattended.
Make sure to stay safe in the kitchen this festive period!!

During a litter pick for the RESOLVE ABS campaign we found a number of vapes . Vapes can be a fire hazard if not disposed of properly, donβt place them in general waste. Recycle them at a Household Waste Recycling Centre, electrical recycling point, or return them to the store .
We bid farewell to our incredible Firefighter Derek Morris (Degsy) , who started in September 1992 he was stationed at Chester 1993 - 2022 then finished his career at Winsford 2022 - 2024. You will be missed by us all!!
π₯ π Happy Retirement.π π₯
Fires that are started deliberately can take fire engines away from attending urgent incidents which may be life threatening .
You can call Crime stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 to give information on any deliberate fires and help us be more available for our community.
A few candles scattered round a room can lend a warm glow to an evening, but please remember that candles also bring fire into your home - so they need to be treated carefully.
