Meet Winston and Kristen Millican! They’re pecan farmers in San Saba.

The Millicans’ pecan-growing roots run as deep as those of the more than 100-year-old trees found on their property. They are the fifth generation to care for the trees and grow pecans, and their three daughters—the sixth generation—all enjoy helping with the family business, too.

They sell fresh pecans, but they also have baked goods, candies and a variety of other pecan products available in their store and online. Because they are blending tradition with innovation, expanding their reach while still honoring a legacy of quality and community.
