Trump has now restarted the most unpopular war in American history after walking away from every single original war aim last week. He conceded uranium enrichment, missiles development, their relationship with Hezbolla and the nuclear dust.
We’re now solely fighting now over the strait and Lebanon, two non issues before the war.
This thing is an indefensible disaster and all of the people who cheerlead it have been revealed for the clowns and traitors they are.
Pretty much all of the prominent voices who supported the Iran War assured us it would be over by now. None of them will admit they were wrong. Even less will they admit that their initial assurances were based on nothing but their own wishcasting. This whole shitshow has been an enormous waste of time and resources and our country has not benefited from it at all. Its advocates have moved the goal posts repeatedly and have even to this day refused to clearly articulate what constitutes a victory and how we’ll know that it’s been achieved.

Families are falling behind.
Homes are being lost.
Groceries keep climbing.
And yet the spending abroad never seems to slow down.
Every dollar sent out feels like one taken away from someone here at home.
Every foreign conflict funded raises a simple question — who is actually being prioritized?
We were promised strength and protection.
What many see now is a government more focused on global entanglements than the everyday reality facing its own citizens.

The first weekend I dropped the kids off at my in-laws' without my husband, something quietly shifted in how I saw family. As I prepared to leave, my father-in-law did what he’d always done for his son, he looked at me and said, “Let’s go fill up your tank.” I quickly told him I’d already done it on the way there, hoping to avoid the offer. He gently but firmly replied, “Never do that again.”
Since then, I’ve come to understand that…
