THREAD: The judge who sentenced Shiloh Hendrix to a 90-day stayed jail sentence, 200 hours of community service, probation, and a $1000 fine for using the n-word has a history of giving sex offenders no jail time.
There’s an entire other side of Nixon no one wants to talk about. Poor Nixon. He was knee deep in mafia and authorizing CIA coups when it benefited his oligarch friends like ITT and PepsiCo. Oh, and don’t forget his role in all the Eisenhower coups as VP running the NSC.
It was an internal squabble. He lost.
🚨🔔President Trump just stunned the world and brought the mastermind behind the Bengazi attack to American soil‼️
He is getting the justice that Hillary Clinton refused to get for our fallen heroes. Finally, we have a leader who delivers accountability.
This is what REAL leadership looks like . GOD BLESS 47.!🇺🇸👊🏻
One of the first times I realized the 'public history' that's taught about something, the version 'everybody who counts believes' was fake was when it to Watergate.
I had read many of the books, including Woodward and Bernstein's book.
Then I read 'Silent Coup' and went back and reassessed.
So I'd already pretty much figured out - without still knowing many of the details that came out later - that the lionized version of Watergate was bullshit.
Then we found out 'Deep Throat' was Mark Felt, and years rolled by in which it became increasingly obvious that Woodward was CIA, and a serial fabulist.
We live in an age where all the lies and cover stories are falling apart, and people are looking for themselves to understand what happened, instead of just taking the word of institutional authority figures about it.
I'm glad the Nixon impeachment and Watergate is being reexamined.
Thirty-six healthy young men were deliberately starved in a Minnesota laboratory for six months, and I want you to hold off on the number until the end, because you will not believe how many calories it took.
The brochure went to the conscientious objector camps in 1944. Will you starve so that others may be fed. Four hundred said yes. Thirty-six were chosen as the most robust of them, in body and mind. The door shut on 19 November 1944 under Ancel Keys and stayed shut for thirteen months.
Twelve weeks of baseline first. Healthy, sociable, energetic men. Then Keys began.
The bodies went first. A quarter of their weight gone. Fat down seventy per cent, muscle down forty. Resting pulse from fifty-five to thirty-five. Their hearts physically shrank by seventeen per cent. Metabolic rate collapsed by around forty. They could not keep warm, layering clothes indoors while their lips and nails went blue. Hair came out. Ankles and faces swelled while the rest of them wasted. Some managed one bowel movement a week.
Then the minds went, and that is what the study is remembered for.
They read cookery books for pleasure. Collected recipes they had no means of cooking. Studied menus like scripture. Cut one small portion into smaller and smaller pieces to make it last, watered it down, hid it. Hoarded kitchen implements they could not use. Sex stopped mattering. So did their friends, their politics and their faith, which in a room full of religious objectors is not a small thing. They looked at other people and saw fat where there was none.
Sam Legg, subject twenty, amputated three of his own fingers.
Now. What would you guess reduces the most screened, most resilient young men in America to that?
Six hundred calories? Eight?
They were eating 1,621 calories a day, falling to 1,514.
Two meals, no dinner. Potatoes, turnips, cabbage, macaroni, dark bread. Fifty-one grams of protein, 286 of carbohydrate, thirty of fat. Low fat, low protein, mostly starch, with a twenty-two mile walk each week.
That is not a famine ration. That is a slimming club target. That is the number in the app. That is the recommended plate, at a deficit, and it is what a great many women are eating this afternoon while being told they are simply not trying hard enough.
And it does not stop when the diet stops. Two thousand a day was not enough to bring those men back. Keys put recovery at four thousand a day for months. Turned loose, they ate up to eleven thousand, wept, binged, vomited and reported they were still hungry. The weight came back as fat, on the abdomen. Some never ate normally again.
Every one of those responses is now filed under personal failure.
Keys published it in 1950. Nobody has contradicted it since.
Candace Owens went from suing her high school over alleged racism, to being a groupie in hip-hop music videos, to interning at Vogue, to becoming the CEO of a left-wing feminist blog, giving TED Talks on social activism, and starting a doxxing website targeting "hate speech" (including minors).
Then she "came out" as a conservative after it became popular following Trump's election, worked briefly at TPUSA, married the son of a British lord worth a fortune, was given platforms on Jewish-owned PragerU and The Daily Wire, before reinventing herself yet again as an outspoken antisemite and crackpot conspiracy theorist, now attempting to appeal back to the left while burning down all the conservative institutions that made her famous.
Celebrating with glee as she reaches "the number one podcast" by exploiting her so-called friend's assassination and launching a baseless campaign of harassment against his friends, employees, loved ones - including his widow and the mother of his children. While trying to get his killer off the hook.
And she has the gall to say Erika Kirk is the one chasing the spotlight.
