@Bambertweets I believe Nevill may have phoned JB after his back had been burned on the Aga handles, Sheila had knocked him out with the rifle butt around 11.30-12.00 and he phoned JB at 3.10 when he came round again before venturing upstairs, obviously he didn't know if anyone was hurt.

The silence is deafening.

Imagine if a Christian extremist attacked a Pride event. The headlines would be everywhere.

Politicians would be falling over themselves to condemn Christianity, conservatives and the entire political right.

But when an Islamist attacks a Pride event in Germany, suddenly the outrage seems to disappear.

The same people who lecture everyone else about tolerance suddenly have nothing to say when their favourite ideology clashes with the very freedoms they claim to defend.

You can't claim to support LGBT rights while making excuses for people who want to destroy them.

You can't preach tolerance while turning a blind eye to intolerance.

And you certainly can't demand that the public ignore reality just to protect someone's political narrative.

If you believe in freedom, defend it consistently , no matter who the attacker is.

Plus a brief revival in 1993.

Also the old Universal horrors too, which were often shown late on Saturdays in a double bill, one b/w and one colour usually!

Wasn't there another suspect from Scotland that appeared in the papers thirty odd years ago?
I think they found writing behind a door, something like 'Jack the Ripper was here', maybe?
