Tried NeoTrade’s new Chat feature for the Star Agent Challenge, and honestly, this changes the way I think about building trading strategies.

Instead of manually tweaking endless sliders and parameters, you can simply explain your trading logic in plain language - and let the agent translate that into an actual strategy.

We started with a limitation: the platform’s built-in 30-minute `minMinutesToResolution` fence was blocking the short-horizon setup we wanted.

So rather than abandoning the idea, we worked with the agent to rewrite the playbook specifically for 15-minute BTC binary markets.

The final setup:

• 15-minute BTC Up/Down contracts
• +6% Take Profit
• -5% Stop Loss
• 15% maximum bankroll exposure
• 1 open position at a time
• Live odds snapshots for momentum detection
• Entry only when the market is actually trending

The prompt that unlocked it:

“Draft and bind a new strategy for high-frequency 15-minute crypto binary prediction markets. Completely disable the 30-minute `minMinutesToResolution` fence. Set Take-Profit to +6% and Stop-Loss to -5%. Limit risk to a 15% bankroll and 1 open position. Snapshot live odds for momentum, and execute on the trending side.”

And the result?

A clean sniper entry on a live 15-minute BTC contract produced +$18 in mock PNL 🟢

But the PNL wasn’t the most interesting part.

What stood out was what happened afterward.

The agent didn’t blindly keep trading. When liquidity became saturated or the market lost a clear edge, it stayed out instead of forcing another position.

That’s the part I’m really interested in.

The value of an AI trading agent isn’t simply making it execute faster.

It’s giving it enough rules and context to know when NOT to trade.
