I just left southern WI and a cooperator was heading out to spray wheat for FHB on a super early variety. An hour north, Arlington ARS, Adam Roth just finished cutting our wheat alleys and only the earliest variety heads were out. Next week will be go time for Feekes 10.51 in SWI
I just walked some suspected replant soybean fields this morning in southern WI. Obviously they weren't perfect but all of the fields were well above our 50k threshold for doing anything. Large thin areas <50k get a repair plant. In WI on good soil and early planted 37K=61pba!

Always great when you get your mail and find a magazine that has run a story on your science. Thanks @DiscoverMag for letting my team and I be a part of your story on Ag Tech innovation! @UWMadisonCALS@UWNPM@UWMadison
Dry conditions, uneven soybean crop emergence (most at V2 growth stage but some just emerged), weeds are getting big…
Do I spray (& potentially hurt some soybean seedlings) or shall we go ahead & take care of business before weeds get out of control? I would go with the later.
