@WillRagatz I don’t think they need to per se, but I think it would be wise to at least have a reliable 3rd RB in the event jones or mason gets hurt again. Their success at this point depends on them possessing the ball, need to have solid RB depth to ensure it stays possible.
@that1guyerin I get the sentiment, but I feel it’s a little more nuanced given the injury and the position. If it was non throwing hand I’d be willing to bet he doesn’t pull out of the game. But if you can’t grip the ball, its another fumble 6 waiting to happen like a couple weeks ago.
@VikeFans When you contextualize it he’s not wrong. JJs putting the ball where it needs to be and making the right decisions. And to this point not giving the ball away.
@WillRagatz I think there’s multiple position coaches that should be on the hot seat. There’s been more than one player it seems that has left the building and is contributing on other teams.
@JEKincade@PhilMackey I’m not anywhere close to firing him, but his offense/scheme this year has felt completely off. I wouldn’t be opposed to having someone else call plays to see if that sparks production. I’d settle for him just pulling his head out of his ass though.
@PhilMackey I was beyond ecstatic when the announcer pointed out Vikings were going heavy personnel. I thought KOC was finally gonna get it right. And then he rolls out Brosmer to pass… got cute and it cost them.
@SeifertESPN@MatthewColler What are your thoughts on the Russini story saying that JJ won’t be starting Sunday, even though there’s been no official word from the team? (At least publicly). Doesn’t seem like something the team would leak ahead of a decision that likely comes today.
@Jimbobafett11@PhilMackey Agreed. He has the highest average depth of target, would definitely like to see more quick hitting plays until he gets the consistent accuracy stuff sorted out.
@SonicSpeeds17@twinbervikes Putting in a UDFA rookie QB won’t get you wins especially with the o line in its current state. Front office took some gambles in offseason with too many vet players and most of them aren’t working out.
