David Radke, a senior research scientist with the Chicago Blackhawks, will be in Morgridge Hall 7560 TODAY for two talks. The research talk will be directed toward grad students & researchers. The career talk will focus on analytics activities @ the Blackhawks. See you all there!
This week’s meeting will be a workshop on football modeling, with a focus on our semester projects with Wisconsin Football. In addition, we will talk more about the Big Data Bowl. See you all tonight!

A great way to finish a full day of @UWBIOS action last night: Our UW-Madison sports analytics club leaders met with Coach Alvarez to discuss “pre-snap motion.” He gave insights on what to look for as our smart students and scholars get ready for the NFL’s Big Data Bowl.
