True talents understand that ideas have a shelf life, a limited time to turn them from potential to actuality. The longer you wait, the more the fire inside you is trapped. Until it burns you alive. This is the first source of bitterness in talented adults: unrealized potential.
Twitter influencers and Twitter media pages only talk about the church when it involves tithing.
Popular influencers only talk about the church or post a sermon snippet when the preacher is openly supporting polygamy.
About three days ago, a preacher indirectly claimed that "economic hours," i.e., hours devoted to working and chasing life, should be more supreme than those devoted to God.
He framed it in a way that made it sound as though Christians seeking God vehemently is a waste of time, making seeking God secondary to seeking worldly things.
You see, you rarely see these pages and influencers talk about fasting and prayer for Christians. Their concern is always about tithing and money.
This shows where their true concern lies—the carnality of materialism. It is similar to what Judas did when he was angry that the lady poured alabaster oil on Jesus.
You would think he cared about the poor, but his concern was actually the fact that someone was "wasting" something expensive on Jesus.
How dare Jesus be showered with something valuable?
How dare the Lord receive our best?
How dare we waste our time for the Lord when we can be chasing work?
How dare Christians pay tithes to the church?
How dare Christians bless their pastors, who labor over them, with money?
Brethren, we boldly declare to you that none of these influencers and Twitter pages love the church, Christians, or the Bible.
They don't. They don't love you, your faith, or your life. They love money. That is all.
They think our fathers of faith are frauds.
They spare no moment to subject Baba Adeboye to the worst of ridicules.
They think all pastors are frauds and liars extorting Christians.
They call the churches where you're being transformed into the image of Christ business centers.
These influencers advocate for cohabitation.
They believe fornication is necessary.
They don't make the Bible the authority in their lives.
They say tithing according to the Bible is partying and drinking alcohol.
They claim making Christian kids pray and watch sermons is child abuse.
Brethren, they don't like you. The spirit that was in Judas is in them. They think no valuable thing should be spent on the Lord.
They believe only your worst should be given to God.
That's why they say sermons should be 30 mins but people can watch reality shows for days non-stop.
They hate your soul, as Paul told us we must pour out ourselves like a drink offering to God.
Why have we said all these things?
To tell you that these people are your enemies and not to let them influence you. Desist from following them. Remove them from your TL.
Understand that they are your enemies, and the more you listen to them, the more your soul is at risk.
They are your enemies. They do not like you or your faith. Stop seeing them as wise. Stop looking up to them for wisdom in anything.
Denounce them. They are haters of God.
Follow other godly influencers who will feed you God's word. Those who are devoted to making you grow in the grace of Christ.
May the God of all peace be with you. Amen.
This is the wrong generation to “disappear” from, never do that “I don’t post” or “I don’t want to be seen” with them, you will miss out on a lot of opportunities
People will only put you on when they see your activities frequently, never stop showing up.
