@S_Harudzibwi The exporters have obligations that they need to settle in ZWG like taxes, part salaries, other regulatory obligations and 30% of their earnings is converted to ZWG meaning Central Bank is adding money through creating a foreign reserve. Where they need to manage is NNCDs
@JoeyK_EDA@BusisaMoyo I might be wrong but since they want to build reserves, as RBZ being the main supplier of ZWG when companies buy ZWG from banks, RBZ supplies then they absorb that into reserves rather than allow the zwg to appreciate. Then also issue of export surrender iya futi
@JoeyK_EDA@BusisaMoyo The opposite is happening actually especially when paying taxes where you have USD and you are forced to go and buy ZWG. That's what's happening mostly because ZWG is scarce.
@S_Harudzibwi Sometimes it's good to change the way we look at things, yes Zimbabwe is messed up but a lot of things have improved but hazvionekwe nemi ana Solo and Denver musiri kugara muno everyday.
@aj_optimus@S_Harudzibwi Your thread said the improvement is statistical rather than material and that's why I asked if the powercuts you mentioned with 18 hours arikuwanikwa kupi ko because materially we are seeing improvement in the power supply availability.

@Stany47@King_Tanyah It's good working for a company under Nec because it regulates employment conditions in each sector through negotiating collective bargaining agreements that set out minimum wages for jobs and also dispute resolution.
@Stany47@King_Tanyah Lol it has always been there and your company wasn't compliant before but the employee contribution is about 1 - 2% depending on your sector
