As usual with these journal-style Substack posts, the topics bounce around from one to another without warning. This one includes something new bothering me (this time with my mouth), the courts trying to block Trump again, and a lengthy section of Chapter 11 of "Left Behind" where Bruce Barnes, the Visitation Pastor at New Hope Village Church, explains why he missed the Rapture even though almost all of the rest of the staff and congegration were gone. I highly recommend that section because it describes the difference between being saved and thinking you're saved well. (The picture is of Clarence Gilyard, who played Bruce Barnes in the first two films of the original "Left Behind" movie series. Also, I include a funny headline from The Babylon Bee that I go back and read every now and then, and I finish it off with some rabbinic commentary on Abraham and my late-night attempt to snack.
I told you this one bounces all over the place. 🤣 https://t.co/jVmwt8Dvic
Thomas Jefferson attended church at the Capitol, days after his "wall of separation" letter. Hegseth's Pentagon prayer service stands on solid historical ground. https://t.co/O6EhBwNEF5
My latest Substack post includes more on the Pacers’ historic comeback, a damning myocarditis report, and even a courtroom sheep story. https://t.co/qpjl5XHNS7
Slept less than I wanted, did 90 minutes of cleaning on one room before I was already worn out, almost too late on my life group updated info, finished the "Left Behind" prequels with my life group; now starting the original series, heavy heart remains over a week later, and thoughts on a 700 Club episode, a Skip Heitzig message on John 8:12-59, a message about living under the correct covenant, and game 1 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals between the Pacers and the Knicks. https://t.co/cdvbvkedu3
@1Nicdar Help them, then tell them Jesus loves them, and remind them that trusting in his sacrifice on the cross is the only way anyone can enter Heaven.
You are 100% right! "If we claim to have fellowship with [God] and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin” (1 John 1:6-7 NIV).

I would like to say I am talented enough to do this thing with my hand in the hand picture on this post, but I cheated. I used my other hand to get all my fingers to cooperate. So, it might look like sorcery to be able to pull this off, but, at least in my case, it is “manufactured magic.” https://t.co/OWBJtRJCGh
At the Judgment Seat of Christ, every believer’s works face the fire.🔥 What will endure? My new Substack post dives into the five crowns of reward, rooted in the Bible, and vividly shown in The Rapture. Salvation’s by grace, but works matter for eternity. #BemaJudgment#Faith https://t.co/XzzllScRFE
