Since this incident of Tinubu's doctored recording happened, Tinubu's Presidential mouthpiece, Bayo Onanuga, keeps progressing in error.
First, there was a fabricated AI-generated voice clip falsely attributed to President Bola Tinubu, with a simulated voice making controversial claims.
Every right-thinking person will agree that it was clearly doctored.
But somehow, VDM was linked to the story because an unidentified unscrupulous individual decided to lift the original footage from a video previously posted by VDM, where he had discussed an old campaign clip of President Tinubu promising stable electricity. The individual then superimposed the fake AI-generated voice of President Tinubu onto VDM's video, making it appear as though VDM had leaked or endorsed the recording himself.
Ordinarily, what a presidential spokesman with influence and experience would have done was to order security and forensic investigations before taking any action. Instead, Bayo took to his official X handle and accused VDM of spreading fake information, even calling for his prosecution without first verifying the authenticity or source of the video.
Now, after several independent fact-checking organizations and digital investigators analyzed the clip and confirmed that it was a deepfake, noting that the audio contained unnatural cadences and other signs of manipulation, the best thing Bayo should have done was apologize to VDM and Nigerians while ensuring that thorough investigations were carried out to identify the actual originator.
But instead, Bayo still pushed for the arrest of Ifechukwu Dennis, a young man from Benin, by the IGP Intelligence Response Team after he was accused of being the primary originator of the recording.
Another investigation has now been conducted by Femi Unfiltered, who revealed that Bayo Onanuga acted based on the video he did. However, Dennis was not the original creator or mastermind behind the generated recordings.
According to the findings of Femi Unfiltered, Dennis merely downloaded and circulated a version of the manipulated video and was not the person who fabricated the AI voice or merged it with VDM's footage. He even openly called out the authorities for failing to conduct a thorough investigation before taking action.
The question is: why is Bayo hell-bent on progressing in error?
What will it take for Bayo and the security agencies to conduct thorough investigations before making arrests?
Does Bayo not understand that arresting anyone linked to such allegations means they may suffer enormous discomfort, public humiliation, emotional trauma, and other consequences long before they are able to prove their innocence?

For VP, Atiku needs a popular southerner with money and respect.
He can't find that.
Amaechi will not spend money and Amaechi can't win any state in the south.
Makinde is not willing to run with him.
Again, it's over. Peter Obi was the only plan.
Up till now, Atiku Abubakar has been working round the nation like an ultimate quest in search of a Vice President that can add real electoral value to his ambition.
The search has taken him across different regions of the country, yet the perfect answer seems to remain out of reach.
He had been directed to Ihediora of Imo State in the South East, but some persons have advised him that Ihediora might not give his ambition the value that it deserves. Apart from the fact that Peter Obi's influence could swallow up whatever Ihediora or anyone else may try to secure for Atiku in the region, there is also the Hope Uzodinma factor. Many believe Hope Uzodinma would deploy every available strategy to secure the required 25 percent for Tinubu and APC.
Atiku has also looked towards the South South, and Rotimi Amaechi's name keeps popping up. However, some have advised him that with Wike firmly planted in Rivers State, that state may be a no-go area. Not to even talk about the fact that Wike has repeatedly promised to make sure Atiku does not get up to 10 percent of the votes there.
In the South West, it could have been Seyi Makinde. But Seyi seems very focused on his own ambition and appears unwilling to be distracted by another man's political journey.
As things stand, Atiku does not seem to have come up with a convincing VP idea. Some people have even suggested that he should pick Kenneth Okonkwo or Dele Momodu. But the Waziri has reportedly rebuked such suggestions, insisting that such calam!ty will never happen to his ambition.
And that is where the real puzzle lies.
With the South East presenting its own complications, the South South looking increasingly difficult, and the South West offering little encouragement, the road ahead appears more challenging than many imagined.
The question is, who will bail Atiku out at this point?
I am Ekene Aninze Esq.
The entire Aso Rock media team Daniel Bwala, Reno Mockery, FFK, Sunday Dare, Bayo Onanuga, all primary is to attack Peter Obi
The governors are already incentivised to work against Obi
Datti Baba-Ahmed and his brother are motivated to start attacking Obi
Kenneth Okonkwo and the entire Atiku Mikano Boys already mobilised to lunch attacks on Obi
Arabambi reactivated and mobilised against Obi and Apapa is waiting to receive his own Alert
The Data Boys are back into the payroll for just one mission, attack Obi
All these are because Obi is their nightmare. Atiku doesn't pose any threat to them, hence they're not bothered about him.
BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? THE OBIDIENTS ARE LIKE THE CHINESE BATALION, AN IMMOVABLE FORCE.
The difference between Remi Tinubu and Dame Patience Jonathan is that while Dame Patience Jonathan understands time and season, Remi Tinubu does not.
A Dame Patience is more interested in how to support her husband to give Nigeria his best, but a Remi Tinubu appears more interested in how to win future elections and continue as First Lady.
A Dame Patience is emotional, empathetic, and can break down when emotions run high. A Remi Tinubu, on the other hand, remains firm, stiff, and speaks professionally even at critical moments.
A Dame Patience Jonathan may organize gatherings to understand the plight of the people, but every gathering organized by a Remi Tinubu is often viewed through the lens of politics and future elections.
A Dame Patience relates with Nigerians using local parlance, making her appear closer to the grassroots. A Remi Tinubu relates with Nigerians through phonetics and a more formal approach.
While a Remi Tinubu is seen as a professional politician who will go any length to remain in power, a Dame Patience Jonathan is not.

Atiku's strategy to win the election was very simple and so basic. 😂
After gathering the opposition leaders in one party, he actually smiled and thought himself the smartest politician in West Africa.
And the plan was, gaslight Obi and his supporters till the deadline. Collect the ticket and crush the ambitions of Obi, Kwankwaso and Makinde.
With this, he'll be the only opposition candidate and Nigerians would have no other option than to vote him.
The plan of a lazy man... 😂😂
A Different Perspective on the Akpabio Umo Eno Comparison
Senator Godswill Akpabio governed Akwa Ibom State during a period when the naira was significantly stronger, with the exchange rate hovering between approximately ₦122 and ₦150 to the dollar throughout much of his tenure. During his eight years in office, the state reportedly received about ₦1.8 trillion in revenue.
When adjusted against today's economic realities considering inflation, currency depreciation, and the dramatic rise in the dollar's value the purchasing power of that ₦1.8 trillion would be worth many times more in present day terms. In practical terms, the value of funds available during Akpabio's administration was far greater than what the nominal figures alone suggest.
As a result, even if Governor Umo Eno were to oversee significantly higher revenue inflows in today's naira terms, the real value and purchasing power of those funds may still not exceed what was available during Akpabio's era.
This is why direct comparisons between the achievements of both administrations can be misleading. Economic conditions, exchange rates, inflation levels, and the cost of governance are vastly different from what they were a decade ago.
Rather than reducing the discussion to political arguments, Akwa Ibom people should examine the facts, study the economic context, and assess each administration based on the realities of its time.
History is best judged with data, not emotions.
Both Senator Godswill Akpabio and Governor Umo Eno have had the opportunity to serve the state in different eras and under different economic conditions. Their performances should be evaluated fairly, with context and objectivity.

President Tinubu did not wait for the opposition to come together before making his move.
He has spent years building political structures across the country.
This is classic Tinubu politics: low on theatrics, heavy on structure. 🤏🤣😆
He understands that Nigerian elections are rarely won on social media or at rallies, but by controlling the political machinery that mobilizes votes and consolidates power. 🤷

Peter Obi Winning Permutation (NORTH EAST)
Peter Obi and NDC will do well in the following States.
1. Taraba State (38%)
2. Bauchi Stste (30%)
3. Adamawa State (41%)
4. Niger State {25%}
5. Borno State {23%}
6. Gombe State {24%}
NOTE: Peter Obi may likely Win Adamawa State or Taraba State in the North East Region.
Facts are Stubborn.
Journalist: Who is your presidential candidate?
ADC Vanguard: Atiku, of course.
Journalist: What's your campaign strategy?
ADC Vanguard: Attack Peter Obi every morning, afternoon, and night.
Journalist: Okay... and what's Atiku's plan for Nigeria?
ADC Vanguard: Did you not hear me? ATTACK PETER OBI.
Me:
Tinubu had to become President to experience something like this.
Atiku would have to become President to experience something like this.
Peter Obi is not even President yet, and the European Union is "honoured" to have him deliver a speech to them. That's the magnitude and momentum of Peter Obi.
My dear Fulani brothers and sisters, especially those who have remained silent in the face of banditry and terrorism, this message is for you.
You cannot remain silent when criminals who are widely associated with your communities are terrorizing innocent citizens across the country, only to suddenly find your voice when action is taken against them.
Many of you are quick to say, "Not all Fulani are bandits." That is true, and no reasonable person is claiming otherwise. However, what concerns many Nigerians is the perceived silence from some people whenever these criminals are carrying out their atrocities.
If you are willing to speak up when security agencies take action against suspected bandits, then you should be equally willing to speak up when innocent people are being killed, kidnapped, displaced, and terrorized by those same criminals.
You cannot condemn the response while remaining silent about the crime.
Nobody is saying all Fulani people are bandits. What people expect is that decent and law-abiding Fulani citizens should be among the loudest voices condemning banditry, terrorism, and every form of criminality carried out in their name or by people claiming to represent them.
Truth should be spoken at all times, not only when it is convenient. If we are going to demand justice, then we must be willing to condemn wrongdoing wherever it occurs and whoever is responsible.
Silence in the face of evil is often interpreted as indifference, and that is why it is important for everyone to stand against criminality without hesitation or excuses.
The fact of the matter is that the Igbo people are not interested in marginalizing anyone, and they are certainly not interested in supporting corruption and graft and violence.
Being peace loving people, they are almost always only concerned with the peaceful coexistence with their neighbors, and the economic success of their host communities, including the infrastructural development of wherever they call home.
This agenda to annihilate the Igbo people was conceived by Gowon and his cabals, leading to the civil war. The Igbo people have never been the problem, and probably never will be.
"They tell us to hate Igbos and never allow them to become President. Yet, it is our own northern brothers who are killing our people every day. And the same people that tell us to hate Igbos are the ones defending our killers.
Maybe it's time we focus on the real problems instead of being divided by ethnicity."
This same NDC……
All Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso loyalists got tickets to all the offices they wish to run for. Read my lips…..ALL🎤🎤🎤
This same NDC ooooooo…..
All Mr. Peter Obi loyalists were denied tickets to the various offices they wish to run for. Again, read my lips……ALL🔈🔈🔈
Henry Seriake Dickson isn't Julius Abure.
He isn't a comrade.
He is a full time politician with future political ambition.
You will notice Dickson allowed Kwankwaso to field all his loyalists in Kano, Taraba, Nasarawa, and other Northern states while he has been dealing with Obi's followers down in the South and FCT.
Aisha Yesufu is realizing Peter Obi is too weak as a leader to protect the interests of his own people. She had to speak for herself.
Dickson knows Obi isn't going anywhere in 2027.
However, he wants to use Obi to corner necessary loyalists in the South East and South South while building a national name for himself.
I assume Dickson and Kwankwaso are having meetings behind Obi scheming for 2031 already while fooling the desperate Agulu man who joined three parties in three months.
After 2027 election, Kwakwanso and Dickson will scheme Obi out of national play and form a joint ticket.
Be there.
RIVERS STATE
With the sacking of wike's major Rivers State political pvppets, Tony Okocha and Ok Chinda, The reinstate chairman has stated clearly that allowing power to return to Ikwerre tribe after they had ruled for 16 years is gross injustice to other tribes that make up Rivers State.
With this statement of his, Many questions have risen.
Will Sim FUBARA be given an automatic ticket?
Will there be another candidate from the ijaws to complete the ijaw tenure?
Will APC collapse it's structure to allow the Kakabaris?
With the series of meetings currently ongoing at Rivers State government House extension, at Ada George, is wike planning a protest or what? Why are they not sleeping at night again?
I've also noticed that wike's 5k monthly gig boys a now, after this heavy blow on their lida, started observing table manners with zero bragging rights.
Everywhere just quiet for streets and online.
Tinubu will definitely use and dvmp and it's getting clearer.
