This Friday (25th) we are supporting @SRTRC_England and their vital work in educating people against racism in the hope to one day eradicate it. Y9 pupils are giving assemblies this week ahead of our WEAR RED DAY in school ✨❤️ @Chaplaincy_KYT@RCBirmingham
We are so grateful for the Mission Team that have been with us in school this week! They have shown us endless kindness, authentic joy and above all, that the Father’s love is real and for us - we just need to be brave enough to accept it ✨ @RCBirmingham@Chaplaincy_KYT
Awareness of Black history goes beyond slavery struggles and civil rights movement of the 1950s. We are 'Reclaiming the Narrative' celebrating key moments of British Black History.

In the news today, Rishi Sunak says English schoolchildren are the best in the western world at reading (for pleasure?)
With the academic year nearly done, do we agree?

Hi @AccReader / @RenLearnUK
Any Myon recommendations for Refugee week?
Our Unicef group want to incorporate this in their Refugee week assembly next week! TIA
We are so grateful to have been a part of the @RCBirmingham Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes! Our pupils have had an amazing week and we couldn’t be more proud of their willingness to serve and their constant joy ✨ @thekenelmyt@Chaplaincy_KYT@BhamDES
@PromoteYourSch have a done fantastic job on our beautiful new Library wall art. We chose books that are mix of staff suggestions and pupils' fave reads. With a nod to a few Midlands Legends too. @LennyHenry
@FrancesKingsto2 😍 My most common requests at the moment is, "Can we do an article?" and "Are there any more articles? Can we nudge the powers that be to add more please? We need to keep this non fic train going 😆
Did I mention how much we love the 'Articles' on the new RP site? Previously it was a hard sell, but now they are worth points, our kids simply can't get enough!
The most amount non fic reading we've ever attempted! Please can you upload more @AccReader@RenLearnUK
Mr Matthews and 8 Newman took the win for 1st Place in the Easter Interform...again! A combination of teacher monitoring, feedback and motivation ensures his class, reads, quizzes, then on to the next book asap; repeat! Well done 8Be @AccReader
Underdogs 7Be smashed into 1st Place for the Easter Interform. Previously last place for 2 consecutive half terms; this time effective team work & using their targets strategically won them 1st place. @AccReader
Lot's happened last term, but not many chances to post, sadly. All you need to know is that PE teacher Mr Jones' group came first in the Easter Interform for Y7 and Mr Matthews, also a PE teacher got 1st Place for year 8 (again) - They are a competitive lot 🎉👏🏆📚
