I used to think the worst feeling in the world was heartbreak.

It’s not.

The worst feeling is finally opening up to someone, finally telling them what scares you, what hurts you, what keeps you up at 2 AM and then they brush it off like you said nothing.

I told my girlfriend something deeply personal.

Something I’d never said to anyone.
I expected understanding, comfort, something.

Instead, I got silence.
A shrug.
A change of topic.

That moment taught me something ugly:

We’re taught to suppress errors.
Hide problems.
Mask pain.
Pretend everything’s fine because “no one wants to hear problems.”

But Rust doesn’t play that game.

Rust never bottles feelings.
Rust never hides pain.
Rust never pretends everything’s okay when it’s clearly not.

When something breaks, Rust says it outright:

Err(E)

No silent failure.
No emotional buffering.
No “I’ll pretend this didn’t happen.”

Other languages sweep errors under the rug like people suppress trauma.

Rust forces honesty.

It exposes the problem.
It addresses it.
It makes you deal with it.

Result<T, E> is therapy with type safety.

You face your issues, fix them, and come out stronger.

That’s why Rust code becomes more stable over time because honesty compounds.

Just like people who stop lying to themselves. Just like relationships where issues get discussed, not ignored. Just like lives that improve when truth is finally allowed to surface.

Rust isn’t strict.
Rust is emotionally healthy.

It just refuses to pretend “everything’s fine” when it isn’t.

Python is the best language in the world.

Yes, Python is slower than other languages, but I don't care because most of my work doesn't require it to be faster.

Python is fast enough for what I need, and fast enough for most people out there.

On top of that, over 90% of the Python code you interact with uses C/Rust/Fast-thing behind the scenes anyway.

The speed at which you can write good Python code is way more important in most situations than the speed at which that code must run.

And no other programming language can match Python in code clarity and readability.

Except English, maybe.

do not make the same mistake i did:

i started learning solidity from cyfrin updraft and learned it till foundry, but i didn’t build a single project around it except what was in the tut. then i pivoted to full-stack, and now i know nothing about it.

and again, i started solana development from kirat and learned up to client-side development, but i made the same mistake: didn’t build enough projects.

so project-based learning is a must. you’re not gonna get good at it until you build projects

once, the iits were exclusive because access was scarce. computers were costly, resources limited, and world-class education belonged to the few. tiers like tier 1, 2, and 3 emerged from this imbalance in opportunity.

but that world no longer exists.

if you're studying computer science today, tiers are no excuse. every iit, stanford, and harvard lecture is online. powerful tools sit on your laptop for free. github is your library, youtube is your classroom, and chatgpt is your tutor.

even in non-cs branches, the gap is closing. textbooks remain the same, nptel brings iit-level teaching to all, and most colleges now offer decent labs and material. even without them, everything is learnable if you choose.

the difference today isn’t your college
it is your mindset.

you are not bound by your background or your campus.
you are bound only by the belief that you are.

and the day you let that go is the day the tiers disappear
because greatness was never a campus you entered
it was a fire you chose to light within.
