It's always tiring how every new illustration by Toriyama-sensei always receives an extremely negative reception, even if there's nothing wrong with his art. It seems like people really don't accept anything that isn't similar to Dragon Ball during the 90s, is disappointing.
Most people don't realize it's highly likely most if not all new stock Sonic art to use this coloring style since the mid-2010s wasn't actually drawn by Uekawa himself.
anyway i made a patched version of 2xko that doesn't require vanguard for archival reasons, can't connect to servers (obviously) but it also allows modding so there's the potential to reimplement online for when the game inevitably sunsets
The match between me and the director of Netcode Warriors! It was so fun. I really can’t wait to play the completed version!

The Best Arena fighter has been created, and it goes to Netcode Warriors.
I'm not even trolling. If you're from the traditional 2D/3D fighting games, you'd probably like this more than every other arena fighter ever, especially the main ones.
@NockCS there are so many ways around having your game end up like that it's kind of absurd tbh, unfortunately aaa studios tend to force the fancy new features into their games and not even use them correctly
every time i see one of them horribly washed out, low contrast ue game screenshots it drives me insane because the engine *is* good, and it doesn't even take much work to make it look good. unfortunately executive meddling leads to abusing its features and making it bland as fuck
