@dogperson2891@AmericaPapaBear Brands are being pressured to lower sugar content- the more sugar a bread has the softer it is and longer it lasts. Fresh bread comes out of the oven hard. They’re giving people what they asked for and people are realizing its not what they want.
@stephenvbird@TPCarney “i need help”
“you don’t deserve help, do more work and maybe i’ll help you”
You teach your wife not to count on you or go to you for support. Then wonder why the divorce came out of nowhere. I’m sure the gutters need to be cleaned every week.
@TheMillennial86@Bunny_ngl Most restaurants don’t tip out the kitchen staff, and several states have passed laws explicitly stating waiters don’t have to share their tips with the people who actually made the food.
@Anaa_ngl@Bunny_ngl This is why more upscale restaurants are going quick serve. There is no reason a waiter should feel entitled to be compensated for extra work done by the kitchen for a higher end meal.
@a8u8s8t8i8n@LauraQGolfer@WallStreetApes Most people don’t understand the level of intelligence necessary for the trades. A lot of disillusioned kids leave the trades because they didn’t realize they would need to do complex math, interface with new technology, and learn do a physical skill with their hands.
@DrCamiloOrtiz This led directly to my disordered eating. Every meal I stared at food I didn’t like and wouldn’t eat. Food became traumatic. I refuse to do that to my child. He won’t eat junk food for dinner, but I wont insist he has what I’m having.
@VETERANPRIDE22@FmrRepMTG If the community hadn’t called the police on the bank robber we would still all be benefiting from the illegal bank money! See how stupid that sounds?
@AriaWestcott Also, this doesn’t just target bad drivers. If you have a job where your commute is between 11pm-4am you are automatically categorized as high risk, because it is assumed that you stay out late every night.
@EricLDaugh What is so hard to understand about the place you grow up being your home? That the only country you’ve ever known being the one you’re loyal to?
@bowtiedmeathead housekeepers make $35-$75 per hour because women are willing to pay women for “women’s work”. After having an established clientele you set your own hours and there is a clear path to owning your own business.
@rhainman@realMaalouf One of the saddest things about forcing the hijab is that it took away what a powerful choice it was for the women who chose to wear them. It was often something older women came to after years of faith. Like a Nun’s habit.
@realMaalouf I’m all for helping Iranian women, but only a fool would believe this is why America is going to war. No one believe our government cares so much about women’s rights that we’ll go to war for them.
