Last month, the 3rd grade students of St. Mary’s School hosted their very own empathy water walk. Each student did the walk while carrying a kid-friendly jerry can to raise awareness for those who walk an average of 3 miles for water in East Africa.

[2/2] In 2021 alone, the center was able to grow more than 6,000 pounds of produce, including delicious tomatoes, bell peppers and cabbages. Thank you, @gorjana_brand, for making this impact possible.

[1/2] Since implemented back in 2019, this #greenhouse has continued to provide learning opportunities and a stable food source for more than 100 youth in Nairobi, Kenya. 🌱

Thanks to the support of our dedicated THRIVE community and water advocates like you, we’re on track to provide #handwashing stations, curriculum, and soap-making kits to six more health clinics by the end of this year.

Hand-washing saves lives. 💦

Last year, we launched partnerships at health clinics across East Africa. These partnerships have allowed us to scale our #WASH program and protect more communities against the spread of viruses and disease.

Early on in partnering with a community, we implement #community-led goal setting and community buy-in to ensure viability, health and economic outcomes, proving our commitment to both environmental and local development #sustainability.

#Sustainability can mean a lot of different things. For us, it means projects with the environment in mind, and long-term partnerships with localized development in mind. 🌱
