@Lowes, r u serious? $1500+ fridge delivery on 9/16 didn't happen b/c your delivery guy didn't feel like doing it, claimed it can't fit. Had to call to ensure it was rescheduled. Team yesterday had NO issue at all. Lost another day's wages. Cust service offered $100 gift card.

@LowinEmpathy @Deridiculus1 @ABC Several forms of legislation avert/end govt shutdowns. Appropriations Bill & Continuing Resolution need 60 senate votes due to the filibuster, but Budget Reconciliation only requires simpler majority. The latter is more complex, but Republicans could fund govt this way right now.

35 years ago Yusuf Hawkins (15) was murdered - one of several slayings of POC in Southern Brooklyn in the 1980s/90s. In recent years we've seen a spate of Anti-Asian, anti-Muslim attacks, thankfully none fatal.
