@PastGlasgow @joel_ca_c Not long after my peers and I passed our driving tests, we used to frequent a hut in that corner that sold various rolls and drinks 24hrs a day, mostly patronised by taxi drivers. Many a nocturnal snack from there was enjoyed!

@ltg1810 @StevenGuest18 @julianHjessop I think those of us who reg. use Scotrail are a better judge than someone who doesn't. Survey a wk ago shows 93% satisfied, and delay compo compares well to private operators like Avanti (£40m), GWR (£30m), EMR (£5.4m).

@ltg1810 @StevenGuest18 @julianHjessop Are they? As a regular Scotrail user, these crises seem to have passed me by.... Of the multiple trains I caught at the weekend, Scotrail was reliable, the two private operators were not.

Fat 51-year old me goes to watch same film in same screen of same cinema (@glasgowfilm) as skinny, spotty 18-year old me saw 33 yrs ago. Brought the laserdisc along for wee night out too! A quid for the ‘93 cinema ticket, £40.99 for the laserdisc (£88 adjusted for inflation!!)

@OssianLore Wandered round a couple of years ago and spoke to a couple who then still lived in the eastern edge of the development. They loved living there. Looked like there had been some modernisation in the 80s or 90s too - such a waste.
