Yuri Sipko’s offense was publicly condemning Russia’s war against Ukraine and saying innocent people were dying.
Authorities raided his home, opened a criminal case against him, and now classify him alongside terrorists.
France recorded a 70% increase in attacks on Christians in 2025.
Physical assaults on Christians and church leaders doubled. Disruptions of church services and threats against worshippers also surged.

🇮🇩Imagine being told you cannot pray because your faith is not welcome in the neighborhood.
This happened in Indonesia. About 15 members of the Islamic Jihad Front (FJI) stormed a Christian church and forced a Sunday worship service to stop.
They demanded that Christians halt their prayers and leave. Their objection? The area is overwhelmingly Muslim and some local residents opposed Christian worship there.

A Christian church in the country’s south was attacked by a group of Buddhists on May 21 while ~ 20 worshippers were gathered for an evening prayer service.

Videos have surfaced showing incidents in Jerusalem where small groups of ultra-Orthodox Jews have verbally harassed Christian pilgrims and tourists.
They call out insults such as “We don’t like you, we don’t like your God” and call for Christians to leave the area.
A volunteer group in Jerusalem, has been escorting nuns to ensure their safety amid reported harassment and assaults.
This allows the nuns and clergy to move through the area without disruption. The incidents have drawn attention to ongoing tensions in mixed neighborhoods of Jerusalem.
🇺🇸 A 41-year-old woman, Deyonna Subert, has been arrested after BEHEADING a statue of Jesus outside St Mary's church in New York.
Church staff later discovered the head of the Jesus statue thrown into nearby bushes.
Police say the incident was serious enough for the Hate Crimes Unit to investigate.
🇵🇸 A Palestinian Christian woman has been released from an Israeli prison after being jailed for the third time.
25-year-old Layan Nasir, a member of the Anglican Christian community in the West Bank, previously spent 8 months in detention without formal charges.

Israeli authorities linked the case to alleged involvement with a banned student group at Birzeit University.
🇺🇸 A Christian woman is suing a Texas Chick-fil-A after she says she was fired for refusing to work on the Sabbath.
The employee, a member of the United Church of God, says she told the company before being hired that her faith prevents her from working from Friday evening to Saturday evening.
She says Chick-fil-A initially agreed — then later told her to either work Saturdays or take a pay cut.

🇨🇳 CHINA ARRESTS 6 CHRISTIANS
Six Christians in China have been arrested for participating in underground Christian ministry activities. Authorities accused them of: “Fraud” & “Organizing activities of minors that undermine public order”.
Their real “crime” appears to be practicing Christianity outside state-controlled churches.
Their names? Wei Yongqiang, He Jinbao, Quan Xiaolong, Long Jian, and Cheng Yongbing — and a woman named Zhou Guiya. They are leaders of an unregistered house church in Kaili, a Chinese city in the province of Guizhou.
🇵🇰 Shabbir Masih, a 33-year-old Christian sanitation worker in Pakistan, died after being forced into a toxic sewer despite repeatedly warning supervisors it was too dangerous.
“He knew it was a death trap,” his widow said. According to his family, Masih refused to enter the sewer for 3 days. On the final night, officials allegedly came to his home and forced him to go.
He died inside a 25-foot-deep sewer filled with toxic gas. Another Christian worker survived after being rushed to hospital.
Pakistan’s Christian minority, who make up less than 2% of the population reportedly fill around 80% of sanitation jobs, often without proper safety equipment or protections.
🇵🇰 In Pakistan, around 1,000 girls - many of them Christian - are reportedly abducted every year.
Girls like Huma Younus, Maria Shahbaz, Farah Shaheen, Laiba Masih and Adan Sabir were allegedly kidnapped, forced to convert to Islam and married to older Muslim men. Some were just 10, 12 or 14 years old.
- Farah Shaheen was reportedly found chained inside a cattle pen.
- Huma Younus was abducted at 14 and never returned home.
- Adan Sabir’s family says her alleged abductor later opened fire on their home after she escaped.
Families often spend years fighting in court to bring their daughters home, only to be told the marriages are “valid” under Islamic law.
🇺🇸🇨🇳 President Trump raised the issue of religious prisoners directly with Xi Jinping during his trip to Beijing.
One of those prisoners was Pastor Ezra Jin, who led one of China’s largest underground churches before being arrested during a crackdown on independent Christianity. Xi reportedly said he would “strongly consider” releasing him.
Trump also raised the case of jailed Catholic publisher Jimmy Lai, who remains imprisoned in Hong Kong.
China has spent years tightening control over religion: arresting pastors, shutting down underground churches and targeting faith communities outside state control.
