Very interesting juxtaposition this week: AOC freezes her eggs amidst rumors of 2028 and a broken relationship. Karoline Leavitt steps back from one of the most desired jobs in Washington to focus on being a mother and raising her two babies.
I was impressed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio's speech at the Munich Security Conference. He indeed addressed a number of particular political issues, but what most grabbed my attention was his stress on the common culture that unites Europe and America. He cited Dante, Shakespeare, the Sistine Chapel, Cologne Cathedral—even the Beatles as expressions of basic cultural intuitions that still inform the West. But he pressed the matter further, insisting, in the spirit of both Christopher Dawson and Pope Benedict XVI, that that culture is grounded ultimately in the Christian faith. It is simply the case that reverence for the dignity of the individual, for human rights, for political freedom, and for equality comes, in the final analysis, from the Christian Gospel. Basic to his presentation was the conviction that Europe and America will truly flourish when each re-discovers its spiritual mooring.
The new Office of Natural Rights re-anchors @StateDept’s work in the fundamental truth contained in our founding documents – that we are endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights. If our rights are not grounded in this fact, they are founded on nothing more than the whims of those in power.
Congratulations to Cardinal Robert Prevost on being elected the first American Pope. While I look forward to learning more about our new Holy Father, his decision to take the name Leo XIV has already given me high hopes for his papacy.
Non-Catholics may not know, but Pope Leo XIII was an excellent pastor of his flock who led the Church to engage modernity, was an enemy of both communism and unrestrained capitalism, and a staunch defender of the dignity of work and workers. His 1891 encyclical Rerum Novarum is the foundational document for Catholic social teaching and a masterpiece of political economy.
If Pope Leo XIV follows in the footsteps of his namesake, the Church and the world will be blessed.
So, let us pray for Leo, our Pope: may the Lord preserve him, give him life, and guide him with wisdom and strength.
Amen.
America is back! It’s hard to believe all that President Trump and his team have accomplished in just 100 days. It deserved another banner outside Heritage HQ here in Washington, D.C. 🇺🇸

🧵🚨 1. Of all the deceptive sales techniques the U.S. government has used on the American people, one of them—the Social Security Act—gets far too little attention. Buckle up because this is a wild ride.
‼️BREAKING‼️ The Colorado Supreme Court ruled in favor of Jack Phillips of Masterpiece Cakeshop
Today, the CO Supreme Court dismissed Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Scardina because an attorney harassing Jack did not follow the correct process in suing Jack.
This win ends 12+ years of harassment, and the SCOTUS decision in 303 Creative protects Jack going forward.

ABC News has DENIED my request for a @DailySignal media credential to cover the Trump-Harris presidential debate in Philadelphia.
The National Constitution Center, where the debate is being held, is a 160,000-square-foot building, yet “space is extremely limited.”
This is BS.
ABC News could no doubt accommodate one credential but has instead decided to deny us access to one of the most important events of the 2024 election.
Ironically, the DNC used the same pathetic excuse to keep our reporters out of its convention in Chicago last month.
The legacy media gatekeepers want to maintain their grip on power at the expense of newer media outlets. All the more reason to NEVER again have these biased broadcast networks host a presidential debate.
Today marks three years since 13 American service members were killed during the Biden-Harris administration's shameful Afghanistan retreat.
Kamala Harris has nothing on her schedule.
Joe Biden is on vacation (again).
Donald Trump:
The Bureau of Labor Statistics just made their largest downward revision to the jobs numbers in 15 years:
📉Total jobs: -818,000
📉Manufacturing: -115,000
📉Trade, Transportation, & Utilities: -104,000
📉Professional & Business Services: -358,000
📉Leisure & Hospitality: -150,000
Meanwhile, 1.2 million native born Americans lost employment over the last year while 1.3 million foreign born workers found jobs.
This is your "record job growth" that Kamala and Biden love to talk about.
Friends, in varied and sundry ways, they are trying to mock and bully us into irrelevance. I say to my fellow Christians: Speak up, resist, and get in their way.

🚨🚨Tomorrow at 2PM we will have an Emergency Press Call with interested parties who want to better understand the legal quagmire of replacing President Biden
After tonight’s malfunction, this is a very serious and active issue
We stand prepared to ensure the law is followed
A total of 16 men will be ordained to the Catholic priesthood for the Archdiocese of Washington on June 15, marking the largest ordination class since 1960. The new ordinands include a medical doctor, a former police officer, and former army officers.

THIS WAS A JUDICIAL LYNCHING.
To understand how conflicted Juan Merchan and Alvin Bragg are you need to consider some American history.
It is no different in form from that what was done in the American south to Ed Johnson, Frank Hicks, Clinton Lee, Frank Moore, Ed Hicks, J. E. Knox, Paul Hall, Ed Coleman, the Scottsboro Boys and many before them.
It is THAT BAD.
But there is a path forward.
Republicans during Reconstruction and both parties during the Civil Rights movement passed and applied statues to deal with State prosecutors and Judges egregiously violating civil rights.
WE ARE AT THAT POINT.
We need an investigation into Judge Merchan and Alvin Bragg’s team for a violation of 18 U.S.C. § 241.
