@itsdeegss The federation has got the talent development part correct & there’s now a culture of playing abroad that’s been healthy and positive, but their coaching hires have all flattered to deceive. We had a good qualifying campaign on the back of a stout D, but the problems were obvious

@itsdeegss It’s a coaching and setup thing. Talent is there to at least play some positive stuff, but between playing a 6 at RB when you have a natural attacking wing back, persisting with Valencia, and leaving behind some of our more exciting talents playing abroad, it’s been disappointing

Would honestly love 3 at the back with Pervis and Angelo as wing backs, vite and Moise, and the central CB (Pacho or Piero) stepping into that holding role when in possession

@DevDeton I actually appreciate letting things go and not letting things get too bitty, but there were a lot of clear-cut things missed, especially in those final exchanges. Just didn’t seem like a particularly balanced refereeing performance.

@zuks1790 @EzzyMUFC Our best attacking formation is him, pacho, and Ordóñez as a 3, with Preciado and Pervis maintaining width and Moi shielding and Vite getting some license to go forward. The coach plays so negative, though.

@zuks1790 @EzzyMUFC In fairness, he’s a CB by trade and is wasted playing on the left. He handled it well for a super stacked Arsenal team, but he’s not super comfortable in space. Was not a good use of our defensive talent.
