@blue__jest It’s definitely because conceptually it’s incredibly stupid. Remaking a classic like FF7 would already be controversial, but also splitting it into 3 separate full games. The only reason they aren’t the laughingstock of the industry is because they’ve been such good games.
@JazineG Usually thieves and tricksters from literature for base forms, then various gods of trickery for second, then something related to the first form usually an alternate name or real life inspiration for original story for final form.
@Animeon133x5@trepeserafin No, again fighting requires martial skill, discipline or training, not just raw strength. Sonic fights with moves like Rapid spin, mega punch, mega kick, and extreme speed, which are all normal. Also fighting against evil, isn’t appart of fighting types.
@Brendzun They aren’t really cannon period. In cannon, they’re just a song retelling the events written by the Wandering Minstrel. However, they’re both abridged to fit into a single song, but also heavily embellished.
@BwiskTanuki He wouldn’t. Some people incorrectly think flying = wind type. While wind is definitely a big part of it, it’s just equally important as being able to fly, or being a bird. Pokémon. Who control wind but not the other two aren’t flying type: see Shiftry, Lumineon, or Whimsicot,
@kei_feed@RinnerStrikes Genwunners are a large group of people who think the only valid Pokemon game is Gen 1, and that anything else is trash. Most of them are blinded by nostalgia or just haven’t played any other games in the series.
@Realnotbotlol@IsXabs Punching and kicking aren’t fighting type moves inherently see: mega punch and mega kick being normal type. It requires a level of skill and technique that I just don’t think Sonic has.
@Extremoblando_@HexNoEyes@beetleoid@Chudacabra Ok what about Roaring Moon and Iron Valiant (590) who are still higher than most lesser legendaries, and every single other paradox Pokemon being 570 on par with the Tapus, Ultra Beasts, Silvally, and the Ruinous legends.
@_salad_dressing@KwamzTheFirst Sonic’s embodiment of the wind has always been a metaphor, rather than fact. He’d be able to use a number of flying moves but not be one himself. Physically Flying/gliding is a requirement to be flying type, or literally being the embodiment of the wind like the forces of nature.
@Realnotbotlol@IsXabs Neither fit, pure normal is the best option. There’s literally no reason he could be ground type. And being a fighting type in Pokemon requires some form of fancier martial arts skill, Sonic mainly fights by crashing into things at full speed.
