We have run out of time for half-measures on immigration. There needs to be one clear and unwavering commitment - every single illegal migrant in the country must be deported. Disappointingly, no major political party is currently offering that.

Not just the objective, but tell us how. We don’t need more empty slogans, we need detail.

It all must start with the Great Repeal Act.

A single piece of legislation to sweep away the outdated and abused legal frameworks that stop this country from enforcing its own borders.

Send a message.

Leave the ECHR. The UK has the sole right to decide who enters and who stays. Illegal entry or overstaying is a criminal offence punishable by immediate removal.

We will not be bound by supranational courts or activist interpretations of ‘rights’. As the law prevents deportations on the scale required, change the law. Root out woke immigration judges pushing their own warped political beliefs.

Enforce powers to track, detain and deport illegal migrants - that will require a massive expansion of immigration enforcement teams. Go for maximum operational efficiency - use both flights and repurposed cruise ships. Mass deportation, by sea or air.

Deliver offshore schemes, eg Rwanda, for those who cannot be returned immediately - get these people off British soil. Pay what needs to be paid. Sending that message is invaluable. Use visas, aid, trade and remittances as leverage to force countries to accept their deportees. Introduce automatic visa bans on citizens from non-cooperative countries.

Offer a strict, time-limited window for illegal migrants to leave voluntarily. Introduce a payment scheme. £5,000 per adult, paid once departure is confirmed. Enforce a lifetime ban on re-entry to the UK. After a deadline, if they remain - they are detained and removed with no further exceptions, debate or payment. Run a multi-lingual advertising campaign in targeted areas.

Introduce a hostile environment. No access to work, benefits, or housing. Heavier fines and punishment for any employer hiring illegal migrants.

Even start to do this, and the boats stop overnight. I promise you that.

We must do what needs to be done.

Plenty of MPs agree with every word said, almost none have the courage to admit it publicly.

Operation ‘Return’ will cost, a lot, but every penny is absolutely necessary. The policy will pay for itself, over and over and over.

Repeal the broken laws. Deport every illegal migrant.

Take back control.

@gabby_cabby Andy, I've been into this myself.
The council issue their council tax demand based upon the VOA(valuation Office Agency) giving them a list of houses which can be lived in.
To get your house off the list you have to speak with the VOA....
