There seems, in fact, to be four forces that rule this world: Stupidity; Fear; Greed; and the "love of Power" by the Few, not for the benefit of the Many!
🚨 80 MPs & Peers are calling on the new PM to:
- Recognise the UN’s findings on genocide & implement the ICJ ruling in full
- Impose sanctions including a full arms embargo
- Ban trade that supports Israel’s illegal settlements
- End Britain’s complicity in genocide, now!
The most interesting thing about Right to Buy is it should have meant Councils had loads of money to build new Council Houses
But actually they stopped
Because Thatcher blocked Councils from using this money to build houses and cut their budget from central Government.
Because of their increased incomes.
.@andyburnham, people are desperate for you to make good on your promise of breaking with 40 years of privatisation
Thames Water is a huge opportunity for you to make good on that promise
Share if you want Thames Water into public hands. Tag him and send him a message in the reply
And this is why Labour will lose the next election; because middle-aged Centrists will pat them on the back about a few silly videos, and they'll be convinced that good PR is all they need, rather than any meaningful policy, or actually addressing people's criticisms of Starmerism.
They smeared him as a threat to national security
They smeared him as a racist
They smeared him as unelectable
Ten years, one operation to crush Corbyn and any opposition to the lobby
They didn't fight prejudice
They fought a socialist who wouldn't kneel down to Israel
It is not decent to lie. It is not decent to indulge warmongers. It is not decent to, as happened to Faiza Shaheen, abandon a mother who has devoted her life to beating former Tory leaders in safe seats because she is too left-wing. It is not decent to humiliate a predecessor because it’s expedient to do so. It is not decent to refuse to lift hundreds of thousands of children out of poverty, then scrap the two-child benefit cap after caving to internal pressure and to try to take the credit in a resignation speech.

12 billionaires are spending over $120 million against California's 5% billionaire wealth tax.
These guys are worth $420 billion, got $182 billion richer since Trump's election & own at least 25 mansions in CA worth $550 million.
We must end billionaire greed.
The NHS was rated one of the best health services in the world when the Conservatives came to power.
And yet some people would have you believe our health system is fundamentally flawed.
We should never forget the destruction that happened on their watch.
Tragically, all the assumotions of our new Chancellor are wrong.
What @JohnHealey_MP
should be talking about is how he's going to use his position to enable the govt to deliver full employment, raise living standards, renew our infrastructure, adapt to climate change and build the houses that people desperately need.
What John has set out so far is more of the same agenda that Rachel Reeves was pursuing, which served the interests of the corporate sector and wealthy elites, but failed everyone else.
John, you can, and you must, do better than this.
Watch this video in which @RichardJMurphy takes him to task.

'Billionaires own public services? Like what?'
'Thames Water.'
'Oh, okay.'
Tory adviser James Starkie questions Natasha Devon on who really owns Britain, but she has all the answers.
If water were publicly owned, there would be nowhere for any water bosses to hide or manipulate water quality tests.
This problem literally only exists under privatisation.
