@KurmudgeTV i agree on the scale, but this is my personal observation of subtle details on the texture. It makes sense to me that a planet-scale object would be subject to similar weathering and strain as an actual planet. as opposed to being shiny and clean...
dont mean to nitpick but how has the ring never looked as big as in CE again? Strangely infinite of all games came the closest.
Look how mysterious this looks. An ancient god waiting to be awoken, not a shiny pretty jewel in space. its unknown and monstrously old.
@CyrianThe Sucks because the layered, almost interwoven-looking metallic beams within the edge of the new one actually look somewhat pretty. But this kind of decoration is misplaced on the scale of a planet-sized structure, and "pretty" is not the exact mood that's needed here
@Slonk01 the large, defined segments look like graphics card rather than a structure at the scale of thousands of kilometers - it should be far more noisy and intricate. they always struggle with the scale on rings
I remember this posted someone did 5 years ago and wish this edit was such an improvement that Infinite needed but never got for the campaign.
I love how the clouds flow off the cliffs like a waterfall.
