Everyone is bias to their era. Few answers here saying they play no defense, one said jordan would get eaten alive in wilt era looll things really never change
@MoBliss27 Literally the exact opposite actually. It was only made towards the end of his career, arguably some of his worst years. It misses all his best years
@MoBliss27 The fact that this stat only existed at the tail end of his prime and he’s still easily tops in it is incredible (small sample but that’s just when the stat came out, nothing you can do about that)
@MattZeitlin The only way they are as good as those teams is if the only thing you consider is how well the team has played in the playoffs (not taking into account the strength of opponent)
In the two and a half years since the Raptors traded OG Anunoby and Pascal Siakam, they’ve combined for four Conference Finals appearances and two NBA Finals appearances.
In Durants 10 year prime (2011-2021), he led the playoffs in scoring 6 times. 2 of those years missed due to season long injuries.
Could’ve really been 8/10 prime years leading the post season in scoring.
10/10 if he didn’t sign with golden state.
I like basketball. I like its history, I like the era I grew up in, and I like it now. The stories from the 60s are great, the 80s and 90s were great, the 2000s were great etc
Seeing every conversation about old players turn into people trying to tear down one era or another is just sad. Just appreciate the sport
@Slimema17860656@iSeeyourpoints That’s fair but if anything this is the tail end of his prime and he still has definitely the best numbers by far, makes you wonder if it was even better earlier in his prime
So in
2022 Boston beat Miami in the ECF
2023 Miami beat Boston in the ECF
2024 Boston beat Indiana in the ECF
2025 Indiana beat New York in the ECF
2026 New York on the verge of beating Cleveland in the ECF
The journey is the journey and it's hard to skip steps.
@JonesOnTheNBA OKC trading JDub for Wilson or Boozer is the move. They can’t pay everyone anyway and are still historical without him, might as well make the timeline younger
