Today, large crowds gathered in Las Anod, the capital city of the North-East State of Somalia 🇸🇴 to peacefully demonstrate and reject Israel’s unilateral recognition of the separatist clan enclave known as “somaliland” in north-west Somalia.

Protesters reaffirmed their firm commitment to Somalia’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and rejected any external actions that undermine the country’s internationally recognized borders.

The demonstration conveyed a clear and unified message from Las Anod: Somalia’s unity is not negotiable.
