The governor of SC issues a warning to service workers and any other industry that wants to organize in SC:
"We will fight all the way to the gates of Hell, and we will win."
He also boasted about SC being the least unionized state in the country and vowed to keep it that way.
It's not too late to join the AFBU Krewe in this year's Mardi Gras parade!
The overall theme of the parade is "The Secret Garden," and our Krewe's theme is: "Thyme for Affordable Housing, There's Gnome Place Like Home."
(We'll be dressed as herbs and garden gnomes.)
We’re launching a new program open to all workers who want to #OrganizeTheSouth by getting a job in a strategic industry.

Our first ever General Membership meeting is on Feb 20th! Join us to be part of the planning for the union's activities this year. Plus, we'll be talking about the upcoming first elections for a Steering Committee.
There will be food and mingling from 6-7pm. The meeting is 7-9pm

Last week, we had the pleasure of meeting with a group of workers in Raleigh to discuss the newly formed Raleigh F&B United!! We even got to join them in solidarity when they went on strike Friday evening. Solidarity is brewing across the South!
