@MsHelft We start with multiplying using an area model and approach factoring the same. Also start with the GCF of a binomial set up like the top row of the box. Then the bottom row is easy.

@robertkaplinsky Texas has a 4-8 math test, but unfortunately many teachers are now getting the 4-8 generalist instead. Similar story, there is math on the 4-8 that isnβt needed to teach those grade levels.
