Testing out the core loop for my new game, GeoSphere. It's a ball-rolling game where you tilt the world, but with a twist:
you can instantly swap between 3 gravities (low, normal, heavy).

GEOSPHERE Devlog #2 is up ᶘ ᵒᴥᵒᶅ
Two playtests: Geek Fair and SAE Institute Mexico.
15 out of 20 players finished the demo and wanted to keep going.
Here's what we learned, data included:

A playtester told me this:
"I've wanted to go back to more human games, tired of LoL, Genshin. Playing the first Metroid reminded me why I play games at all. Geosphere made me feel the same thing."
Between the thesis and the day job, that's the fuel. ;)
Tilt the world, not the ball.
In GEOSPHERE you rotate an entire world around a ball you never control. Three gravity states. More than one path to every goal, and voices insisting they know which one you should take.

@KiriArc_Games Muchas gracias! Justo nos sorprendió el recibimiento de la gente, muchos querían re-jugar la demo para encontrar todos los secretos, para futuros eventos yo creo tendremos que poner timer para que juegue más gente! 🥳🥳🥳
You don't move the ball. You move the world.
Last weekend 20 people played Geosphere at "Feria Geek vol. 3." The demo runs 45 minutes. 15 out of 20 of them played it to the end.
